Mike Pilkovsky, CGP
Director of Operations
Mike's construction background spans over 32 years in both commercial and residential construction. He has developed a relationship with many building professionals to provide a quality building team tailored for each individual project. His responsibilities have included the sucessful completion of schools, medical facilities, rental centers, roads and bridges along with fine custom homes. Mike is a Green Building Professional as reconized by the National Association of Homebuilders.
Mike has served his community in many capacities and is currently in his 14th year as a member of his town's budget committee. He is a member of the Appalachian Mountian Club, Maine Island Trail Association, Mount Washington Obsrevatory, and the Green Mountian Conversation Group. As an avid outdoorsman, Mike spends his free time kayaking, hunting, fishing, or alpine skiing.
J. Benjamin Long, P.E.
Civil Engineer and Project Manager
As a New Hampshire licensed Civil Engineer, Ben has worked in the industry since he graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1994. He has over 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction. He has been with Beckwith Builders, Inc. since 2003, managing many different construction projects. His responsibilities include obtaining town and state permit approvals, designing project sites, and the sucessful cpmpletion of severla custom homes and boathouses.
When Ben is not working on construction projests, he spends much of his time with his family.
Aimee Savard Bentley, AIA, LEED AP
Lincensed Architect
Aimee is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional; she recieved a B.S. in Architecture and a minor in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and her Master's degree from the Boston Architectural College, where she focused her thesis on connecting architecture and place (landscaping) through sustaiable design strategies. Aimee has over 10 years of experience desinging high-end single family homes, both new construction and renovation projects. Aimee also has experience in the commercial sector working on high rises and consulting on LEED registered projects, at various stages and scales from master planning to individual buildings.
Aimee enjoys all aspects of design from early conception to final completion. The beginning is to understand the site/landscape and listen to all of the clients' desires. Drawing on that information, she can then create the architecture to respond. Her design focus is on the large picture down to the small details that can make a home unique and personal.
Aimee has taught training classes, concentrating on sustainable strategies for the LEED New Construction and Major Renovations rating system, Thesis Studio at the Boston Architectural College, and sits on review panels as the architecture, landscaping design, and sustainable design critic.
Gail Blackburn
Interior Designer
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, Gail Blackburn went on to the Boston Architectural Center, where she studied for three years.
Gail has over 16 years of experience with both commercial and residential design. At Beckwith Builders, Inc., she handles all aspects of interiors from schematic design to the documentation and construction of all interior architectural detailing. Gail specializes in custom built-in woodwork and cabinetry, as well as all aspects of plumbing, lighting, and finishes.
Recently, Gail has won several awards for her designs, appearing in recent advertisements in national home publications.
When not at the office, Gail enjoys spending time with her two daughters at her own gorgeous lakefront home.
Andrew Moore, Assoc. AIA
CAD and IT Specialist
After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Andrew was hired by Beckwith Builders, Inc. and has been with them since February 2007.
Using the latest in CAD software, Andrew is responsible for drafting a project and producing drawings for construction while simultaneously building a virtual model which provides the client with a three dimensional walkthough of their project. Andrew specializes in transferring the ideas of the architect into a set a documents that contractors can build from. In producing CAD renderings and 3D models, Andrew Moore is essential in helping the client to visualize their project.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, and fly-fishing.
